Freedom Air is always are courteous and Professional on every visit and even on the phone. James always wears his shoe covers and is always attentive to my needs. I have had prior experience with another Company and I felt as if they were dishonest with me so I switched to Freedom Air that was referred to me from a co-worker. James always educates me on my system to make sure I understand why my System functions the way it does. This is more than any other company would in my experience so I am very confident that they are treating me right on every visit. I highly recommend this Company to anyone.

This is a follow-up to my review of 6/30/16.

Today, 8/3/16, Freedom Heating and Air Conditioning made a good faith effort to restore their name and reputation. They replaced my entire HVAC unit at no cost to me. And as James Anderson promised, I'd be treated the same as if I had paid for this unit. Not many businesses go to this extent to restore customer confidence and/or reputation. I believe we can move forward with our newly restored business relationship.

My AC unit died this past week so I called 4 local HVAC companies for pricing and availability to do an install. Of the 4 companies, Freedom HVAC offered me the best price and they even installed the entire system within 24 hours!!! Remarkable!! We are super happy that we chose Freedom HVAC and the equipment that was recommended by Michael B. People were great and installers were top notch!!! Highly recommended for all your HVAC needs! They have a customer for life with me and my family. Thank you Freedom HVAC!!!

Although I almost never write reviews, I was so impressed with James and Ramiro solving a complex HVAC problem that I want to share this information with others.

I recently purchased a home in Beaufort and it was evident at the beginning that the HVAC unit was both noisy and not efficient. With the colder weather in January the unit was on much of the day.

What impressed me the most, was that James was not trying to sell me a new HVAC unit but trying to solve the problem with a thoughtful analytical approach.

The first thing he noted was that the return view was too small for the size of the unit. That would affect both the efficiency and the noise. So enlarging the return vent and placing a damper on the duct work as the air exited the unit helped some.

Still the HVAC ran a lot during the cold weather. It was then that James did a detailed analysis of the unit I should have for the house. What he found out with his calculations that other HVAC dealers did not tell me, was with all the windows in the house (there are a lot) I would need a larger HVAC unit. He explained that if he were just to use the square footage of the house the size of the unit would be too small, which was the case with the present unit.

He also spent time looking at the ducting under the house to find out that some of that was the wrong size. In fact, there was smaller ducting coming from the unit and then going to a larger size which would cause some of the air turbulence I was hearing.

Based on James calculations, I decided to put in a new proper tonnage HVAC unit and replace ducting under the house.

I am happy to report that the problem was solved! The new unit is quieter and more efficient. My February electric bill with the new unit was half it was with the old unit in January. (Weather was very similar in both months, even prorating and accounting for fewer days in February.)

Many things impressed me James and Ramiro; the professionalism and courtesy and knowledge, but mostly they were not in a hurry to just make a sale. They began with a low cost approach trying to use my old HVAC unit and ducting. I never felt pressured but always informed.

And when the unit was installed, Ramiro came back and spent over 30 minutes going through a check list of all they did in the installation. I thoroughly understand what was done and why.

Before I agreed to the new HVAC unit, I called Freedom Air and talked with Aaron the manager who immediately sent me all the technical information on the unit as well as answer some last moment questions.

It is refreshing to get this kind of service these days!

And oh yes, they also are a certified Nest Installer.

My wife and I shopped for a new heat pump and cooling system for our vacation rental home in Hilton Head Island, SC. They responded with a great system and a great competitive price. The installation was performed as promised meeting our timeline. The owner of the company came by to review the work and to check on our satisfaction. This is a great way to do business. I recommend this company highly.

The entire experience with Freedom Air of Bluffton SC, from the first visit to the installation, was exceptional! The completed system was installed within a week. The staff is delightful to work with, the prices are reasonable, and the work is professional. Ramiro was our installer and I could not have been more pleased with his consideration and professionalism. I honestly highly recommend this company to anyone in need.

Freedom Air responded right away to our initial call and when I expressed a concern about the diagnosis of the problem with our heater, the owner of the company himself came to our house to reassess the problem - on the night before Thanksgiving! They were persistent in working with our home warranty company to get the work covered for us. They were very good at communicating with me about what was going on.

Freedom is very professional and courteous. I have a home appliance warranty and they chose Freedom. Edgar came to my house on a Tuesday night at dinner time. He was dressed well, his truck was nice, and he took the time to really explain everything that was going wrong with my HVAC. He was very thorough to rule out different problems too. Freedom has helped to make a bad situation better! I will definitely request Freedom for my future Air and heat issues....
